摘　　要：随着我国改革开放的稳步推进和社会主义市场经济体制的建立,中国社会进入了社会问题多发期和社会矛盾凸显期,高校大学生思想政治教育的形势十分严峻。党在新时期开展的爱国主义教育,使高校乃至全国各阶层、各领域的思想政治工作出现了转机,也使当代大学生的思想情感、政治觉悟、国家意识和奉献精神大为增强。审视改革开放以来高校大学生思想政治教育的显著成效,其中新时期爱国主义教育在整个思想政治教育中的作用是不容忽视的。文章对这一问题进行了理论分析与探讨。With the steady progress of China＇s reform and opening-up and the establishment of the socialist market economic system, Chinese society has entered the period of social problems and social contradictions, which has brought unprecedented challenges to the ideological and political education for college students. The patriotism education carried out by the Communist Party of China in the new period has made a favorable turn for the ideological and political work in colleges and universities and all sectors of society, and has greatly enhanced the thoughts and emotion, political consciousness, national consciousness and dedication of contemporary college students. To review the remarkable achievements of college students＇ ideological and political education since the reform and opening-up, the role of patriotism education in the ideological and political education can not be ignored. A relevant theoretical research is carried out in this paper.
