摘　　要：网络数据库技术是计算机科学与技术专业核心课程,但长期以来该课程的教学与实验内容陈旧,难以跟上数据库技术迅速发展的步伐。该文以培养学生的应用能力和工程素质为目标,本着＂学生为主体,教师为主导＂的指导思想,在课程教学和实践教学两个层面进行了一系列改革尝试。其效果是有效调动了学生学习的积极性和主动性,工程实践能力得到迅速提高,创新意识不断增强。文中从教学内容、教学方法和考试形式等几个方面阐述了具体改革措施。Network database technique course is the typical representative which perfectly combines the theory and practice among the courses of computer majors. But the contents of the teaching and experimentation of this course are stale all along. This paper introduces a series of innovations in course teaching and practice instruction of the database course .The target is to train students＂ ability for practical application and engineering design. It is shown that these efforts have effectively promoted stu- dents＂ interest and initiative. Their performances for practice ability and creative thinking are gradually improved. Innovations in course content, teaching methods and testing methods are described in detail.
