摘 要:韦伯虽然把儒家文化的宽容看成是中国现代化的障碍,但他也对文化多样性给予理解和同情。"西方中心论"和"资料不足"的批判没能抓住韦伯中国观的多种面向,也忽视了从"理念型"分析来解读韦伯中国观所蕴含的多元性和包容性。在中西文化比较中,我们既要处理好摆脱"被边缘化"与文化民族主义之间的关系,对"文化误读"的判断要采取一种审慎的态度。多元化的文化宽容意识有利于文化平等交流,也是避免文化霸权主义和文化民族主义的有效策略。Although Max Weber takes the tolerance of Confucian culture as an obstacle to China's modernization,he also understands and shows sympathy for cultural diversity.The criticism of"Western centrism"and"insufficient information"has failed to grasp the different facets of Weber's view of China,and ignored interpreting Weber's view of diversity and inclusiveness on China in the conceptual perspective.In the comparison between Chinese and western cultures,we should cleverly deal with the relationship between"being marginalized"and cultural nationalism,and take a prudent attitude to the judgment of"cultural misinterpretation".The awareness of the significance of the tolerance of cultural diversity is conductive to culture-based equal exchanges,and is also an effective strategy of avoiding cultural hegemony and cultural nationalism.
