摘  要:美国高等教育体系完善,其高等教育系统最显著的特点在于实行以市场选择为特征的社会参与型管理模式。作为公立综合性大学代表的加州大学伯克利分校、作为私立研究型大学代表的莱斯大学和作为地方特色型大学代表的德州农工大学既具有美国大学治理体系的共同特性,又分别在务实高效的科研管理、"以生为本"的寄宿书院式学生管理和"发展性"的人力资源管理等领域形成了自身的鲜明特色,这些做法与经验对我国大学内部管理改革具有重要的借鉴意义。The higher educational system in United States is complete. The significant feature of its educational system is the social-participating governance model with market selection characteristics. The University of California Berkeley is selected as a representative of comprehensive public universities, Rice University is selected as a representative of private research universities, and Texas A&M University is selected as a representative of regional featured universities. These three universities share the common characteristics of the governance system adopted by all American universities. However, they also show their unique and outstanding features such as "practical and effective research management", " ‘student-oriented' boarding management" and "developmental human resource management". These experiences and methods are of great reference significance and great contribution to the reform of internal management in Chinese universities.
