“译者三维转换”视角下文化因素的传译——以罗译版《三国演义》中动物词汇英译为例

摘　　要：《三国演义》是中华文学史上独特的瑰宝,这部断代史小说承载了大量文化信息,包括动物词汇的表达。罗慕士《三国演义》译本处理动物词汇时注重文化负载信息的传译,成功地向西方读者传递了动物词汇的所指意义。本文将通过演绎归纳法探析《三国演义》中动物词汇英译表达的案例,结合翻译适应选择论中"译者三维转换"为宏观理论指导,以期给从事文学翻译的译者们一些借鉴。Three Kingdoms is the unique treasure of Chinese literature. This periodic history novel carries enormous cultural information, especially its animal words in the novel. The English version of Three Kingdoms by Moss Roberts lays much emphasis on cultural loaded factors embodied in animal words, which successfully conveys referential meanings of animal words to western readers. Based on the English version of Three Kingdoms by Moss Roberts, this study analyses animal word translation with the strategies of induction and deduction. Guided by ＂translator＇s three-dimensional transformations＂, this study attempts to put forward some useful suggestions in relevant respects to literary translators.
