摘　　要：作家许杰在逗留新马期间,主要从事《枯岛》文艺副刊编辑工作,经他努力,《枯岛》成为南洋第一个明确倡导"新兴文学"?的文艺副刊。与此同时,许杰还十分关注南洋地方文艺发展方向,并围借助《枯岛》培养了一批当地的革命文学青年,为当时的新马文学发展时指出了一条具有开创意义的路向。The writer Xu Jie was mainly devoted to Dull Island Literary Supplement editing work when he stayed in Malaya during the one year and three months. In his hard work Dull Island became the first literary supplement of advocating New Literature.Meanwhile, Xu Jie was very concerned about the developmental direction of literature and art with Nanyang local colors, cultivated and guided the creative practice of a group of local revolutionary literature youth centering on the Dull Island,and pointed out agroundbreaking approach for writers in Singapore and Malaysia when exploring development of Singapore and Malaysia literature.
