Refuse derived fuel(RDF)was prepared with stable physical and chemical properties based on the typical composition of municipal solid waste.RDF and lignite were pyrolyzed at different heating rates by thermogravimetric analyzer. The apparent kinetic parameters were studied by using the Coats-Redfern,Friedman,Flynn-Wall-Ozawa method(FWO)and Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose method(KAS)during the co-pyrolysis of RDF and lignite. The results show that the activation energy of the plastic polymers and the biomass reaches the lowest point when the heating speed is 10 ℃/min in the Coats-Redfern model. The best fit progression series of pyrolysis of biomass materials and plastic polymers are 0.5and 1.5.With the growth of the series, the activation energy is proportional to the growth and progression.According to the model-free method of Friedman,FWO,KAS,three parallel linear(α=0.1,α=0.2-0.6,α=0.7-0.9)have similar kinetics and reaction mechanisms.
