摘　　要：采用实地调查、实地访谈等方法,以贵州赤水苗族独竹漂活动为研究对象,深入探析独竹漂活动由民俗走向竞技的历程、文化形态变迁及成因,为我国少数民族传统体育现代科学化发展提供相应的理论思考。民族传统体育要实现由民俗走向竞技,自身需具备一定的文化特色条件,还需要民间和各级政府的大力推动。民族传统体育由民俗走向竞技有利于获得更好的发展,但也需认识到,这并不是它唯一的发展出路。With the research methods of field investigation and interview, the paper discusses the development of bamboo floating of Miao nationlity in Guizhou province from folk activity to competitive sport, its cultural form changes and cau- ses. In order to develop into a competitive sport, the folk sport should have cultural features and need help and promotion of the government and local people. It should be recognized that becoming a competitive sport is a better way for folk sport development but it is not the only way.
