摘  要:肯尼斯·雷克思罗斯的诗歌以其独有的东方文化特色在美国当代诗坛独树一帜。由于深受禅宗影响,雷克思罗斯诗歌不仅具有浓厚的佛禅意蕴,而且对于“空”这一禅宗的核心概念也有独特的阐释。基于“无我”和“一即一切,一切即一”的佛教教义与命题,他通过诗歌来揭示到达“空”之途径,阐明“空”之体悟。本文拟用雷克思罗斯诗论来阐释其诗歌中的佛禅思想,同时融合其诗歌创作观,指出雷氏在诗歌中运用禅宗的“双遣法”思维,创作出富含“空”之意境的诗歌。本文认为其诗歌中的佛禅思想可以为多元文化共生与碰撞的现代社会提供借鉴,并带来更多思索。The unique oriental style in Kenneth Rexroth's poems makes him unique in contemporary American poets. Because of the deep influence of Zen Buddhism, his poems are full of Buddhist meditation. He has special understanding of "void", the key concept of Zen Buddhism. Based on "egolessness" and "one in all, all in one", Rexroth uses his poems to show the way to "void" and the epiphany of it. This essay aims to explain deep and profound meanings of Zen Buddhist thoughts in his poems combining with textual analysis and his philosophy of literature. Besides, Rexroth uses double negation, a way of logical reasoning focusing on negative words, to write poems which are full of the meaning of "void". One of Rexroth's great virtues as a poet and as an example for our age is his fusion in a personal style of qualities from both East and West. Thus, exploring Zen Buddhist thoughts in his poems and rereading his poetry in the new age will arouse more speculation in modern society.
