摘　　要：美国大众文化与传媒中的黑人男性形象有时被扭曲为胆小怕事、没有头脑，而且缺乏勇气和智慧，又往往被塑造成性超人形象，纵欲无度却缺乏情感深度。20世纪70年代以来崛起的雷蒙德·安德鲁斯，是致力于颠覆和修正这些刻板形象的黑人作家中颇具代表性的一位。其成名作《阿巴拉契之红》中的黑人男性不仅敢于用暴力直接反击白人种族的压迫，而且敢于用聚拢财富的方式与白人周旋，彰显了黑人伸张正义和捍卫人格尊严的勇气及其深沉的生存智慧，而他们在情爱上的本色表现也消解了性超人和强奸犯的形象，体现了黑人男性的人性高度和情感深度。In American mass culture and media, black men are sometimes stereotyped as a sexual superman, submissive and ignorant, lacking courage and intelligence, licentious but incapable of feeling deep love. Rising in 1970s, Raymond Andrews is one of the representative writers committed to subverting and modifying these stereotypes. The black men in his masterpiece Appalachee Red not only dare to confront directly with white racial oppression, but also dare to fight a battle of wits against the white in the way of amassing wealth, demonstrating their courage to uphold justice and defend their personal and racial dignity, and exhibiting their deep survival wisdom. Their authentic performance also dispels their imposed image of sex supermen and rapists, demonstrating their humanity and depth of emotion.
