摘　　要：介绍了基于MPO耦合原理设计的多芯水密光缆连接器。该连接器以MPO光纤连接器光路自对准结构为设计特点,具有体积小、重量轻、多芯光纤插入损耗一致性高的特点。对该连接器的各设计环节进行详细阐述,并通过各种环境试验的测试,验证了该连接器的环境适应性与可靠性。A kind of multi-core watertight optical cable connector which designed on the basis of MPO coupling theory is introduced.The design of the connector is characterized by MPO fiber optic connector optical path selfaligning structure,and the connector has features including small size,light weight and good consistency of multi-core optical fiber insertion loss.Each design link of the connector is elaborated.The environmental adaptation and reliability of the connector are verified through various environmental tests.
