生态文明时代的大学使命

摘　　要：工业文明时代创造的物质财富超过了以往一切时代的总和,但生态赤字日趋严峻。面对人与自然不断激化的矛盾,人类自身亟须实现从"经纪人"到"社会人"或"生态人"的角色转换,真正跨入生态文明新时代。相对于渔猎文明、农业文明和工业文明,生态文明是人类历史上一种全新的文明形态。在生态文明时代,大学作为特殊的社会组织,负有引导人类文明新走向、把握生态文明时代新特征、认识大学新使命、共建大学新蓝图的特殊使命。The materials wealth created in the age of industrial civilization has exceeded the sum in all the past ages, while the ecological deficit is becoming more and more serious. Facing the fiercer conflict between humans and the environment, humans must change from ＂brokers＂ to ＂social humans＂ or ＂ecological humans＂ for entering the new age of ecological civilization. Relative to the fishing and hunting civilization, the agricultural civilization and the industrial civilization, the ecological civilization is a new form. In the ecological civiliza- tion age, universities as the special organizations, are responsible for leading the new civiliza- tion trend, comprehending the new characteristics of ecological civilization, understanding new missions of universities and co-operating a new blueprint for universities.
