摘　　要：大型多型豆象属(Megabruchidius)是危害皂荚类和菜豆类植物的一种重要仓储类害虫,本文对该属的东京湾大豆象的分类地位、寄主、分布、形态特征及生物学习性等进行了描述,并提供了大型多型豆象属的检索表,以期为检疫鉴定提供参考。Megabruchidius is an important kind of stored product pests that feed on the seeds of the legumes Gleditsia and Phaseolus. A key of Megabruchidius（adults only） is provided for 3 species,and the taxonomic status,hosts,distribution,morphological characteristics and biological habit of Megabruchidius tonkineus are provided. The results provide a useful reference for the quarantine and identification of these pests.
