摘　　要：民国初年"报界奇才"黄远生是我国新闻史上新闻时代的开拓者,他不仅在新闻业务方面作出了巨大的贡献,而且在新闻伦理思想方面提出了独到的见解。他提倡新闻记者要有独立自尊的人格,养成"富贵不能淫,贫贱不能移,威武不能屈"的大丈夫品质;对待政府、政党和社会公众,都要以公明之心,主持正论公理;要有关心时局和批判现实的责任意识;要具备"脑筋能想""腿脚能奔走""耳能听""手能写"的职业素养与采写能力。他的这些观点是中国新闻伦理思想史上的宝贵精神财富,对于当今新闻记者的修养也有一定的参考价值。In the early years of the Republic of China,Huang Yuansheng,who was called ＂the wizards of the press＂,was a pioneer of the news era of China. Not only did he make a great contribution to news business,but also put forward his unique views on the ethics of journalism. He advocated that journalists should have the personality of independent self-esteem,and cultivated the quality of ＂no money and rank can confuse,no poverty and hardship can shake,and no power and force can bend＂; should be justice to government,political parties and the public;should have a sense of responsibility for the political and social realities; should have the professional qualities of＂thinking,walking,listening,and writing＂. His views is the spiritual wealth in the history of Chinese journalism ethics,which also has reference value for the cultivation of today’s journalists.
