摘 要:基于电磁带隙结构(Electromagnetic Band-gap,EBG),本文设计实现了一种W波段宽带低损耗带通滤波器。通过EBG结构的频率带阻特性实现低通滤波,同时利用矩形波导固有的高通特性实现滤波器的低端频率截止。采用减宽波导加载微带EBG结构的方式将高通与低通结构相结合,经过适当的阻抗匹配设计,实现了覆盖75~110GHz全W波段的宽带滤波特性。EBG结构通过在5mil厚Rogers5880基片上制作一系列E面周期加载的谐振单元构成。实物测量结果表明,在75GHz^100GHz内,回波损耗典型值为-20d B,在100GHz^110GHz范围内,回波损耗典型值为-15d B,全带宽内插入损耗典型值小于1d B。该滤波器可用于各种W波段电子系统及测量设备中。A low insertion loss W-band band-pass filter based on EBG structure is proposed in this paper. The stopband characteristic of EBG is adopted to achieve the low-pass filter property,and the inherent high-pass characteristic of rectangular waveguide is used to determine the lower limit of pass-band. By combination of low-pass and high-pass structure realized by loading reduced-width rectangular waveguide with micro-strip EBG structure and proper design of impedance matching,the broadband operation of the proposed filter covering 75 ~ 110 GHz is achieved. The EBG structure is fabricated on one side of a 5mil thick Rogers5880 substrate with a certain amount of E-plane periodically loaded resonators. A prototype of the filter is fabricated and measured. The measurement results show that the typical return loss is about-20 d B and-15 d B in 75 GHz ~ 100 GHz and 100 GHz ~ 110 GHz respectively,and the insertion loss is within 1 d B over the 75 GHz ~ 110 GHz band. This filter can be widely used in a variety of W-band application systems and general test instruments.
