摘　　要：本文概述了美国佛蒙特州如何将智力与发展性障碍者由隔离性庇护就业转向社区融合就业。1980年,佛蒙特州推出了支持性就业示范项目,随后在全州范围内复制和推广。2002年,该州最后一间庇护工场也成功转型为社区融合就业。文章探讨了推动庇护工场转向社区融合就业服务所需要的政策变化、培训及文化转向等,并考察了服务现状和未来的目标。An outline of the U.S.A.＇s State of Vermont transformation from segregated, sheltered employment to integrated, community-based employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is presented. Vermont started a supported employment demonstration project in 1980 and replicated and expanded the program throughout the state. In 2002, the last sheltered workshop was successfully converted to community-based employment. The issues of policy change, training, and culture-shift needed to foster the conversion of sheltered workshops to community- based employment services are explored, together with an examination of the current state of services and goals for the future.
