摘　　要：【目的】优质稿源是英文科技期刊学术质量的保障,编辑通过参加国际学术会议可以达到宣传期刊扩充稿源的目的。【方法】总结调研获取国际学术会议信息的方式以及参加会议前的准备,研究如何发挥参会期间的主观能动性,做好会后的追踪工作。【结果】结合Chinese Journal of Aeronautics编辑部参加国际学术会议的策略与具体实践,对编辑提出参加学术会议的建议。【结论】有针对性地参加国际学术会议有助于英文科技期刊加快国际化进程,提升国际影响力。[ Purposes ] High-quality articles are the bases for English science and technology journals. By attending international academic conferences, editors can advertise their journals and extend article sources.[Methods] In this study, we summarized the accessible ways on getting the informations of international academic conferences and preparations before the conferences. The ways of playing subjective initiatives during conferences and doing a good job of tracking after conferences were investigated.[Findings] Advices on attending international academic conferences are provided based on strategies and practice of attending international academic conferences from the editors in Chinese Journal of Aeronautics. [Conclusions] Attending targeted international academic conferences are helpful to accelerate the process of internationalization of English science and technology journals and to enahnce their international influence.
