摘 要:设计制备了周期性金属线阵"零"折射率材料,使用S参数提取法,仿真得到在9.40GHz处,该"零"折射率材料的等效折射率的实部为0.05,虚部为0.019.进行了波导仿真实验,实验结果证实所设计制备的"零"折射材料在对应频点具备"零"折射率的特性.将其加载到喇叭天线口来改善喇叭天线的指向性,仿真发现加载"零"折射率材料之后,喇叭天线的指向性得到了提升:E面的半功率波束宽度从18.0°变为17.6°,E面旁瓣由-8.6dB降低为-19.5dB,H面的半功率波束宽度由18.1°减少为13.4°,H面旁瓣由-26.0dB降低为-27.1dB,天线的增益由原来的19.7dB增加到了21.1dB,从天线的喇叭口辐射出的波形也改善为近似平面波.实物对比试验也表明加载周期性金属线阵"零"折射率材料的喇叭天线E面和H面的辐射宽度明显变窄.In this paper,a kind of zero refractive index material(ZRM)based on metal wire array model was designed and manufactured.A simulation experiment was carried out to get the Sparameter of this material and then an Sparameter retrieved method was used to retrieve the effective index of refraction of the material.It turns out that at9.40 GHz the real part of effective index of refraction of the material is 0.05,the imaginary part of effective index of refraction of the material is 0.019,which is very close to zero.A waveguide simulation experiment was performed to test whether the material had the characteristic of zero refractive index material at 9.40 GHz,and its result shows that the material do have the characteristic of zero refractive index material at that frequency.Zero refractive index material flat slab can be seen as a directional filter which can only allow normal light to pass,so this characteristic can be used to improve the directivity of horn antenna.A horn antenna model was built and the zero refractive index material was added on the horn mouth.After simulation,the result turned out to be that the zero refractive index ma-terial has improvement in directivity of horn antenna.The antenna's E-plan half power beam width has decreased from 18.0°to 17.6°,E-plan side lobe has decreased from-8.6dB to-19.5dB,H-plan half power beam width has decreased from 18.1°to 13.4°,E-plan side lobe has decreased from-26.0dB to-27.1dB,gain has increased from19.7dB to 21.1dB,and the waveform of electromagnetic wave which exited from horn antenna approximates plan wave.Then Printed circuit method was used to manufacture the zero refractive index material and the material was added on the horn antenna which had the same size of the horn antenna built before.A simple electromagnetic measuring device was used to carry out a contrast experiment.The result of the contrast experiment showed that the zero refractive index material do have improvement in directivity of horn antenna.
