摘 要:英雄与英雄崇拜现象历来引起无数人的兴味。民国以来的"英雄"论多为时论杂感,而陈铨的英雄崇拜说则是以意志哲学为立论基础,以英雄史观为理论依据,并糅合化用了卡莱尔、叔本华、尼采、康德诸人学说的理论体系。陈铨英雄史观的形成与其成长过程、个人经历密不可分。因为陈铨在论述中否定了"五四"精神以及唯心主义色彩,因而其英雄崇拜说遭到自由主义者(如沈从文)、唯物主义者(左翼文人)的质疑和批判,但陈铨意在藉此反思批判传统文化和国民精神,并认为,在深重的民族危机中,只有借鉴德国崛起的经验,提倡培养以国家为中心的民族精神和集体主义观念,崇武尚力,中华民族才能在新的"战国时代"生存发展下去。Abstract: The hero and hero worship has always aroused the interest of countless people. The "hero" views since the Republic of China has mostly been comments and random ideas; while Chen Quan' s hero worship view, theoretically based on the will philosophy and founded on tile historical concept of heroes respectively, has integrat- ed and absorbed the theory systems of" views by Carlyle, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche and Kant, etc. The formation of Chen Quan' s historical concept of heroes is closely connected with his growth process and personal experiences. Because of its denial of the May 4th Movement spirit and of idealism, Chen Quan' s view of hero worship was inter- rogated and criticized by liberalist (like Shen Congwen) and materialists (such as left-wing scholar), but Chen Quan meant to reflect on and criticize traditional culture and the national spirit, for in his opinion, it was only by drawing on the experience of the rise of Germany, advocating the cultivation of the nation-centered national spirit and collectivism value and venerating militarism and power could the Chinese nation survive and develop in the new "warring states" period.
