摘　　要：沈从文创作的小说主要分为两大类,一类是以湘西生活为主题的乡土小说,一类是以现代城市生活为主题的都市小说,小说中塑造的形象尤以女性形象最为特别。沈从文创作的女性形象具有深厚的美学意蕴,既有乡野的纯洁野性之美,亦有都市的病态悲凉之美。不同地域、不同类型的女性,有着不同的性情和人格特点,寄托了作家对人生与美的哲学思考,对不同生命形式的认知和把握。Abstract： Shen Congwen＇ s novels fall into two types ： one is local novels themed on life in western Hunan and the other urban novels themed on modern city life. In Shen Congwen＇ s novels can be found some unique images, esp. female images. With profound aesthetic connotations, female images delineated by Shen Congwen embrace not only the pure and wild beauty of the countryside but also the morbid and pathetic beauty of the city. Females of dif- ferent types and from various places, endowed with diverse temperament and personality characteristics, are reflec- tive of the writer＇ s insightful reflections on life as well as his cognition and grasp of different forms of life.
