摘　　要：海南地区是岭南地区的重要组成部分,元朝建立以后,将海南地区作为其进攻安南、占城等国家的海上跳板和前沿阵地,对海南地区进行了重要的军事布防。元政府在高、雷、化三州安置邓州旧军中万户府进行镇戍,在海南岛上设置黎兵万户府。黎兵万户府在万人以上,是元代军制史上比较特殊的例子,可见元政府对海南地区军事镇戍之重视。Hainan is an important part of the Lingnan region. After its establishment, the teudal government oI the Yuan Dynasty established Hainan as a maritime springboard and an advance position for its invasion of Annam and Champa Kingdom, etc, thus implementing essential military deployment in Hainan. The Yuan government set up a ten-thousand-household prefecture respectively in Gaozhou, Leizhou and Huazhou and a similar prefecture--o- ver ten-thousand-households--on Hainan Island, which was a special example in the military history of the Yuan dynasty, hence the due attention of the Yuan government to the military protection and garrison in Hainan.
