摘　　要：尽管中国背景下的"善治"研究已成为一个热门领域,但对其评述性文章和政治学分析都很少。首先考察国际援助机构和西方学术界的善治定义及附加的政治诉求,然后采用中国研究中"人及其思想"文献的分析路径,从公民社会与善治、"善政"与善治、善治与中国的政治发展、善治与民主等方面对俞可平等学者的善治研究进行"处境化的解读"。旨在透过国内代表性学者的善治"思想"来观察上世纪末以来中国政治发展的内容、特点和逻辑。Although ＂good governance＂ in China has turned out to be a hot topic of research,related commentaries and analysis in the perspective of political science are still scarce.To fill in the gap,the article first of all examines the definitions of ＂good governance＂given by international aid organizations and Western academics and the political claims attached to the definitions.Then,following the literature review route of ＂the man and his ideas＂ taken by ＂China Studies＂,it analyzes the works of Yu Keping and other representative scholars through ＂contextual reading＂ in four aspects：civil society and good governance,＂good government＂ and good governance,good governance and China＇s political development together with good governance and democracy.The article also sheds light on the content,features,and the logic of China＇s political development since the late 1990s through the lens of the representative scholars in discussion.
