摘　　要：大力推进生态文明建设的背景下,水土保持迎来新的发展机遇与挑战。本文从水土保持理论发展概况、水土保持专业及课程概况、新形势下水土保持的机遇与挑战三个方面分析了水土保持理论在生态文明建设中的重要作用。最后以天津理工大学自然地理与资源环境专业为例,阐述了水土保持理论在自然地理与资源环境专业人才培养中的作用及应用情况。Soil and water conservation is ushered in the new opportunities and challenges in the context of promotion of ecological civilization. The importance of oil and water conservation theories in ecological civilization construction based on soil and water conservation theories development analysis,soil and water conservation major and course development analysis and the new opportunities and challenges in the new context. At last,physical geography and resources environment specialty in Tianjin University of Technology provided a cause study of role and application of soil and water conservation theories in personnel training of physical geography and resources environment specialty.
