论晚清文人视野中的残疾人形象——以《点石斋画报》为中心进行的考察

摘　　要：时有论者就中国社会对残疾人的态度得出或尊重或歧视的两种大相径庭的结论。不过,这种倾向有简单化和绝对化的嫌疑。《点石斋画报》刊发的大量残疾人题材,展示了晚清残疾人群体的生存状况,并由此透露出编创群体对残疾人的态度显然要复杂得多:既有深切的同情、尊重和钦佩之情,亦包含明显的挖苦、嘲笑及歧视之意。这种错综复杂的态度既是晚清社会变革背景下的文人残疾人观的反映,亦是当时整个社会残疾人观的缩影。Some scholars conclude that there are two totally different opinions on people＇s attitudes towards the disabled in Chinese society： respect or discrimination,which is suspected to be of simplification and absolutization. A large number of subjects about the disabled published in Dianshizhai Pictorial showed the living conditions of the disabled in the late Qing Dynasty,thus revealing that the attitude of the editing group is much more complicated; they show sympathy,respect and admiration to them,which imply sarcasm,ridicule and discrimination. The complex attitude is a reflection of the view of literati for the disabled in the context of social transformation in the late Qing Dynasty,as well as a miniature of the view of the disabled in the whole society.
