一部尘封百年的“龙学”开山之作--评近代国学大师刘咸炘的《文心雕龙阐说》

摘　　要：以皇皇八百万言《推十书》著称于世的近代国学天才刘咸炘,于1917年作《文心雕龙阐说》一书,对《文心雕龙》五十篇逐一进行理论阐释,这在《文心雕龙》问世以来尚属首次,因此,该书不仅是近现代"龙学"的开山之作,而且也是整个《文心雕龙》研究史上第一部全面阐释《文心雕龙》的理论著作。但由于刘咸炘一生学隐巴蜀,足未出川,且英年早逝,其书被尘封近百年而未得与世谋面,因此,在学界已出版的数种《文心雕龙》研究史著作中,刘咸炘及其《文心雕龙阐说》均只字未提;在笔者寓目的数百种龙学著作和数千篇龙学论文中,亦未见其踪影,这不能不说是极大的遗憾。实际上,作为近现代"龙学"的开山之作,《文心雕龙阐说》一书的意义堪与黄侃《文心雕龙札记》比肩,理应在龙学史上占有一席之地。As a genius of Guoxue(the study of traditional Chinese culture)in modern times with the fame for his eight-million-word long masterpiece TuiShiShu,Liu Xianxin wrote Interpretation toWenXinDiaoLongin 1917,making a theoretical and original interpretation of the fifty chapters in WenXinDiaoLong.It is the first time for Chinese scholars to study and elaborate WenXinDiaoLong.However,his book is undiscovered for nearly a hundred years since he lives in Sichuan Province and never steps out of it until he dies at an early age.As a result,Liu Xianxin and his Interpretation to WenXinDiaoLonghave never been mentioned in every published research works of WenXinDiaoLong.This is definitely agreat pity.In fact,as the original interpretation work of WenXinDiaoLong,Liu Xianxin and his work should be regarded as important as Huangkan's Notes to WenXinDiaoLongand deserves a fame in the research history of WenXinDiaoLong.
