摘　　要：中国的方志数量繁多,内容丰富。就环境史而言,方志对各种物产、山川风物、灾害的记载,以及方志中辑录的诗文、图像均为环境史的研究提供丰富的史料。这些环境史料虽有一定价值,但也存在某些局限。利用方志进行环境史研究,既需转变意识和观念,也需掌握一定的方法,从原有的史料中读出新意,对旧有的问题作出新的判断和解释。China's local records are numerous and rich in contents. In terms of environmental history,records of various products,moutains and rivers,landscape and disasters in local records,and poems and articles,and images collected in local records provide environmental history research with rich historical reference materials. Although these materials have certain values,they are also limited in certain areas.To use local records in environmental history research,we not only need to change our senses and concepts,but also need to master certain methods,so as to get new meanings from existing reference materials,and make new judgements and explanations to old problems.
