摘　　要：As a popular tourist destination on the southeast coast of China,and reputed as the"Garden on the Sea",Xiamen is a city in harmony with the sea,with an enchanting landscape and a pleasant subtropical climate.The city is not only endowed with verdurous mountains,turquoise sea,pearly white beaches with gentle waves,blue sky and blooming flowers。As a popular tourist destination on the southeast coast of China, and reputed as the ＂Garden on the Sea＂, Xiamen is a city in harmony with the sea, with an enchanting landscape and a pleasant subtropical climate. The city is not only endowed with verdurous mountains, turquoise sea, pearly white beaches with gentle waves, blue sky and blooming flowers, but also home to diversified cultures, including those of overseas Chinese, western countries and South Fujian, making it an enchanting city where history and tradition merge with modernity and urbanity.
