摘　　要：基于文化自觉的理念,笔者澄清了对"四大发明"的错解,进而对发明及其分级、评定作了界定,邀集众多资深科技史专家对中国的重大发明作了研究和梳理,编撰出版了《中国三十大发明》一书。继而指出,"中国的事情,中国人自己要把它弄清楚。在发明创造的问题上,中国要有自己的话语权"。实事求是的科学精神,是研究、评估重大发明时须严格遵循的准绳。Based on the concept of cultural awareness,the author clears up the misunderstanding toward “Four Great Inventions ” by delimiting invention and its grading and assessing. A number of senior experts in the History of Technology were invited to conduct new researches and re-organize the great inventions of China. The researches were put together into the publication of Thirty Great Inventions of China. In this article, the author states： “For the matters in China,we Chinese should sort them out ourselves. In terms of inventions and creations,China has to have its own words. ” The scientific spirit such as be true to facts is the criterion that one needs to follow strictly when doing research and evaluating great inventions.
