摘 要:利用双螺杆挤出机制备了聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯/三氧化二锑(PET/Sb_2O_3)复合材料,并通过差示扫描量热仪、热重分析仪、极限氧指数测试仪和水平垂直测试仪对PET/Sb_2O_3复合材料结晶性能、热性能和阻燃性能进行了表征。结果表明:Sb_2O_3具有明显的异相成核作用,促进了PET的结晶,使PET/Sb_2O_3复合材料的结晶温度、熔融温度及相对结晶度明显增加。断面形貌观察结果显示,少量的Sb_2O_3能够均匀地分散在PET基体中,Sb_2O_3较多时,分散性变差,出现白色颗粒状团聚体。阻燃测试表明,复合材料的极限氧指数从22.4%提高到了31.6%,UL 94垂直燃烧测试达到了V-0级,且有效地抑制熔滴滴落。热失重结果表明,热分解温度随Sb_2O_3用量的增加而逐渐提升,而复合材料的热分解速率则随着Sb_2O_3用量的增加而逐渐下降,且Sb_2O_3增加了复合材料的成炭性能。总之,Sb_2O_3对PET结晶性能和阻燃性能均具有明显的促进作用,具有较好的应用前景。Polyethylene terephthalate(PET)/antimonous oxide(Sb_2O_3) composites were prepared by using twin-screw extruder. Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), thermogravimetry(TG), limiting oxygen index(LOI) and horizontal vertical burningtester were used to characterize crystallization, thermal and flame-retardant property. The results show that Sb_2O_3 has obvious heterogeneous nucleation, which promotes the crystallization of PET, and the PET/Sb_2O_3 composites crystallization temperature, melting temperature and crystallinity increase significantly. The results the cross-section morphology of PET/Sb_2O_3 composites show that a small amount of Sb_2O_3 can be uniformly dispersed in the matrix of PET, and a larger aggregate will be formed when the Sb_2O_3 is much more. The flame-retardant test shows that the LOI of the PET/Sb_2O_3 composites increases from 22.4% to 31.6%, UL 94 vertical burning test has reached V-0 level, and effectively restrains droplet dropping. The TG results show that thermal decomposition temperature increases gradually with the increasing of Sb_2O_3 content, and the thermal decomposition rate of composite decreases with increasing of Sb_2O_3 amount. In brief, Sb_2O_3 has obvious promoting effect on crystallization and flame retardant properties, and has a good application prospect.
