摘 要:近年来,中国消费结构升级的步伐趋缓,其原因尚未得到合理解释,本文试图从房价上涨这一角度提供一个可能的解释。运用35个大中城市2000—2013年的面板数据进行实证研究发现,房价上涨抑制了消费结构升级,就全部样本数据而言,房价每上涨1个百分点,消费结构升级指数将下降0.27个百分点,并且房价上涨对交通通讯、教育文化娱乐和医疗保健等升级型消费支出的影响具有明显的差异性;分地区估计结果显示,房价对东中西部城市居民消费结构升级也具有显著的差异性,东部城市和西部城市房价上涨对消费结构升级均呈现抑制作用,中部城市房价上涨对居民的消费结构升级没有显著的影响。In recent years, housing price has kept rising in the past decades, while the pace of upgrading consumption structure gradually slowing down; but the existing literatures could not give a reasonable explanation. We conduct an empirical research using panel data of 35 large and medium cities to explore the above phenomenon. The research show the following findings, in terms of all the sample data, the rise of housing prices suppress the consumption structure upgrading, which is consistent with our theoretical analysis. The influence from housing prices on traffic and communications, medicines and medical services, education, culture and recreation services have significant differences. The influence of housing prices on consumption structure upgrading in the eastern, middle and western regions have significant regional difference. The eastern and western cities' housing pricesshow inhibitory influence on consumption structure upgrading, but middle region cities' housing prices have no obvious influence on consumption structure upgrading. The government should control the reasonable level of housing prices to promote consumption structure upgrading.
