摘　　要：隐喻研究从最初关注隐喻的装饰性功能到探寻隐喻的概念化功能,从分析语言领域的隐喻式表达到着眼非语言领域的隐喻思维,再到隐喻的多模态呈现,经历了研究对象、研究视角、研究重点和研究方法的转变。本文对修辞隐喻、认知隐喻、语法隐喻、语境隐喻、多模态隐喻这五种隐喻概念以及它们之间的区别和联系进行描述和梳理,揭示了不同隐喻理论框架下的隐喻概念之间融合与互补的关系。From the emphasis on the ornamental function of metaphor to its conceptual function, and from the analysis on the linguistic metaphorical expressions to the non-linguistic realization and the multimodal representation, the studies on metaphor have undergone orientation shifts in terms of research objects, perspectives, emphasis, and methods. This study briefly intro- duces five notions of metaphor--rhetoric metaphor, cognitive metaphor, grammatical metaphor, contextual metaphor and multi- modal metaphor, and clarifies their differences and relationships. It is thus pointed out that there are complementarities be- tween those five notions of metaphor.
