“电影化小说”——论严歌苓的跨文本写作范式

摘　　要：著名华裔女作家严歌苓的很多小说形式新颖、风格独特,在形式和内容上介于小说和电影两种范畴之间,使小说写作成为一种跨越文本的新型写作范式——即电影化小说。在严歌苓的电影化小说中,影像画面和文字叙述之间积极互动,镜头、特写和道具等影像元素不着痕迹地消解在文字叙事中,构成独特的叙事张力。从效果来看,"电影化小说"为电影与小说之间的互动提供了便利,对文学和电影的繁荣来说都是一种有益的尝试。这种新型写作范式对于作家在创作上的突破和文学种类的丰富和繁荣都是大有裨益的。Yan Geling,one of the most celebrated Chinese American writers,by experimenting on employing filming techniques in novel writing,made a successful attempt on a new genre of novel,that is,cinematic novel.In Yan＇s cinematic novels,pictures and words,by actively interacting with each other,constitutes narrative tension of a unique kind.Under the effect of this narrative tension,image elements like shots,close-up and prop are ingeniously used in words.Cinematic novel has facilitated the interaction between film and novel and promoted the prosperity of the two arts.It has proved to be a significant breakthrough in novel writing,which is beneficial to the diversity of literary genre and a boom in literature.
