中国C9与美国“常春藤”联盟科研竞争力比较研究

摘　　要：[目的/意义]对比分析中美两国两大顶尖大学联盟科研成果,研究两个联盟的优势与差距,为提高中国高校国际竞争力提供参考。[方法/过程]选取In Cites数据库数据,将中国C9联盟与美国"常春藤"联盟共17所高校在1980—2016年37年间的科研发展趋势进行比较,从科研生产力、科研影响力、科研创新力、科研发展力、学科竞争力与国际合作等6个角度进行科研竞争力的对比分析。[结果/结论]结果表明,C9联盟成立6年来,9所中国高校在论文数量、质量上均得到提高,呈现良好的发展势头,并在国际合作方面表现突出,但在科研影响力、创新力和发展力方面与"常春藤"联盟存在较大差距。C9在化学、物理、材料科学、工程学等学科研究份额较大,在生命科学领域研究份额比"常春藤"联盟弱。未来C9科研竞争力的整体提升取决于科研影响力的提高。[Purpose/significance]The paper is to compare and analyze scientific research outputs of two top universities alliances separately in China and the United States ,and study their advantages and the gaps, so as to provide reference to enhance Chinese uni- versity＇s international competitiveness. [Method/processJIt uses the data from Incites database to compare the development trends of scientific research of total 17 universities in C9 union and the Ivy League in lately 37 years during 1980-2016, and makes a compara- tive analysis of their scientific research competitiveness from 6 aspects of scientific productivity, influence, creativity, development, dis- cipline competitiveness and international cooperation.[Result/conclusion]The results show that in the past 6 years since C9 union es- tablishment, China＇s 9 universities have maintained good momentum of development in papers＇ quality and quantity, which exhibits a sound development momentum, and prominent international cooperation performance, but there exists great gaps between C9 union and the Ivy League in influence, creativity and development of scientific research. C9 union has a larger portion in the discipline research of chemistry, physics, materials science, engineering and so on, but is weaker in life sciences area than the Ivy League. Overall in- crease in scientific researches competitiveness of C9 union in future depends on improvement of scientific influence.
