Protecting Rural Women＇s Land-related Rights

摘　　要：Xihe, a county in Northwest China＇s Gansu Province, recently issued the notice on protecting rural women＇s legal rights and interests during confirmation of land ownership. The notice stipulates that women should be listed with their husbands as common land contractors when their land is registered. The notice accords with the Law of the People＇s Republic of China on the Protection of Rights and Interests of Women and the Law of the People＇s Republic of China on Land Contract in Rural Areas.
