“中性”——汉字中所隐含的符号学范式

摘　　要：本文将巴尔特的“中性”概念改造为“二元对立项的中间状态和消解方式”，并将这个概念运用于汉字符号的分析，指出汉字具有类符号、类文字的中性特征。本文还通过图文关系的“离心化”和“向心化”两种中性化类文字现象的描述，进一步阐释了汉字中隐含的与西方符号学不同的理论范式，并预示了这种“中性”符号学范式的现代意义。Redefining Roland Barthes＇ term ＂Le Neutre ＂ as ＂the neutrality and dissolution of dualistic opposition＂, this paper argues that Chinese characters are quasi-characters, quasi-signs, and neuter. The unique paradigm of Chinese characters is revealed by comparing the neuter phenomena of ＂centrifugalization＂ and ＂centripetalization＂ between pictures and characters and highlighting the significance of such a paradigm to contemporary semiotic studies.
