摘 要:塑料基材电镀铬广泛用于汽车手刹按键,但使用一段时间后,表面容易起壳。运用库伦测厚仪、显微镜、冰醋酸化学内应力测试法以及扫描电镜(SEM),对汽车手刹按键镀铬表面起壳的缺陷进行了研究。结果表明:塑料基材的局部内应力太大,造成粗化不足、镀层结合力差,在外界环境温度变化和受力情况下,镀层和基材发生脱离,引起起壳;通过高温退火可以去除塑料基材的内应力,改善了镀层结合力,满足了质量要求。Coulometer thickness tester,microscope,chemical testing method for internal stress by glacial acetic acid and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to study the blister defects on the chrome button of automobile electrical parking brake.Results showed that the internal stress of plastic parts was too large at some area,resulting in the insufficient coarsening and bad adhesion of the electroplating layer.Under the condition of the temperature change and stress,the plating layer and the base material broke off,causing the blister defects on the surface.However,the internal stress was reduced by high temperature annealing of the plastic part,and the adhesion of the electroplating layer was improved.The quality met the market requirement.
