英汉动物词汇隐含含义的对比研究

摘　　要：动物是人类生活中重要的组成部分。在英汉两种语言中,不同种类的动物被赋予了各具特色的文化内涵,因此构成了富有特色的动物词汇隐含含义。由于各民族文化背景、思维方式、地理环境和宗教信仰等方面的异同,英汉动物词汇的隐含含义中出现了相同、不同与空缺的现象。因此研究英汉动物词汇的隐含含义将有助于丰富人们对英汉两种语言文化的了解,促进两种语言人们之间的跨文化交流。The Animal is an important part of human life. In both English and Chinese,different species of animals have been given different cultural connotations,which constitute the distinctive implied meaning of the animals words.However,due to the similarities and differences in cultural background, way of thinking, geographical environment as well as the religious belief, the implied meanings of animals words between double languages began to appear the similar, different and vacancy phenomenon.Therefore, the study of implied meanings of animal words will help to promote the mutual understandings as well as the cross-cuhural communication between English and Chinese language users.
