摘　　要：介绍东京都市圈市郊铁路的具体情况,包括路网规模、市场定位、技术特点、线网格局、运营方式,以及市郊铁路与东京都市圈城市化进程、产业经济、人口迁移发展的相互关系,分析市郊铁路的盈利能力,并针对我国市郊铁路发展提出了相关启示。The paper provides an overview on the status quo of the suburban railway operated in the metropolitan area of Tokyo, which includes the size of the railway network, the marketing positioning, the technical features, the structure of the railway network, the operation mode, as well as the relation between the development of suburban transit on one hand and the progress of urbanization, industrial economy, the migration of people on the other. At the same time, it studies the profitability of such railway and looks into its inspiration to the development of China＇s own suburban railway.
