摘　　要："小街区"已经变成了一个老生常谈的话题,但是就国内外文献来看,大部分看待与理解小街区的角度是从"外部"出发,例如密路网的规划、街道空间的营造等。鲜有文章从其"内部"出发,论述小街区的本质与生成机制。本文从新的角度出发,通过将巴塞罗那小街区与创智天地的几个主要方面进行对比,对小街区进行进一步地理解与论述,对中国的小街区建立以及做法提出一些建议。＂The Small Block＂ has become a topic of cliché, but in the domestic and foreign literature, most of views and understandings of small blocks are from the ＂external＂ perspective, such as the dense road network designing and the street space construction. There are few papers adopting the ＂internal＂ perspective to find out the nature and formation mechanism of small blocks. This paper starts from a new point of view, understands and discusses small blocks by comparing the block areas of Barcelona and Knowledgeable and Innovative Community（KIC）, and puts forward some suggestions of how to design small blocks in China.
