略论变化社会中的腐败问题——基于美国“镀金时代”腐败与治理的若干思考  

On Corruption Issues in Changing Societies——Based on Correcption and Governance in Gilded Age in America

摘　　要：美国作家马克·吐温和查尔斯·达德利·沃纳的名作《镀金时代》被认为是展现十九世纪六七十年代美国社会风貌的经典作品。小说生动地再现了美国社会进入高速发展时期,从一般民众到政治人物,投机逐利、贪污腐败等社会状况。而现实之中的"镀金时代",即南北战争结束到19世纪末、20世纪初这一阶段,也正是美国历史上腐败现象最为严重的时期之一。因此,试图从小说中所展现的腐败现象说起,探讨19世纪中后期美国社会中腐败问题严重的原因,以及对于变化社会之中腐败现象与反腐败等问题的认识。Gilded Age, a masterpiece written by American writer Mark Twain and Charles Dudley Warner, is considered to be the most classical literature reflecting the social conditions of American society in 1860s to 1870s. The novel vividly dipicts the social style of America in the society＇s rapid development period, especially the phenomenon of speculation, profit seeking, and corruption among public and political figures. The corruption shown in the novel is discussed, the realistic causes of corruption in American society is discussed during the late nineteenth century, and explore the related problem about corruption and anti-corruption is explored issues in changing societies.
