中国早期留美教育与早期留欧教育之比较

摘　　要：清末随着清廷遭到西方列强的侵略,清政府陷入“内忧外患”局面.为自强求富,清廷培养了一批适应社会发展的新型人才,开启了中国近代早期的留学教育,早期留学分留美和留欧两部分.该文从人员的派遣、留学的制度管理、社会的思想观念和国际环境等方面,分析晚清早期的留美教育和留欧教育的不同结果.认为,早期的留学教育开启了中国留学之先河,对当时以及对以后的社会及教育,思想观念方面影响深刻而长远.The invasion of the western powers in the late Qing Dynasty made the Qing government fall into internal and external troubles. For seeking for strength and wealth, the Qing government cultivated a batch of new talented people to adapt to social development, and it started overseas education in the United States and Europe in early modern China. This paper tries to analyze the different results of the early overseas education in the United States and in Europe in the late Qing Dynasty, from the perspective of the personnel dispatch, management system of overseas students, the social ideology and the international environment. The result shows that, the early overseas education started the overseas study, and had a profound and longterm influence on the future of the society, ideology and the education.
