译者对翻译生态环境的主动选择——林语堂《论语》英译的译者中心性研究

摘　　要：生态翻译学认为,译者在翻译过程中发挥中心性作用,表现之一为译者对翻译生态环境的选择性适应。林语堂《论语》英译的个案就诠释了译者的这种中心性,并阐明了当前生态翻译学理论一处尚未充分表述的思想:译者的选择性适应不仅是翻译生态环境对译者的选择和译者对翻译生态环境被动的适应,还包括译者对翻译生态环境进行的主动选择,而这正是译者中心性的表现之一。Based on Lin Yutang＇s English translation of The Analects as a case study,the paper,from the perspective of eco-translatology,illuminates the translator＇s active selection on translational eco-environmentto justify the translator-centeredness in the translation process and to clarify one ambiguous point in eco-translatology,i.e.translator＇s selective adaptation does not only cover the translational eco-environment＇s selection of the translator and the translator＇s passive adaptation of the translational eco-environment,but also includes the translator＇s active selection on the translational eco-environment.
