Objective To observe the effect of homemade heating pad and heating shoe covers on patients to keep warm and regain warmth. Methods A total of 62 patients with cesarean section were randomly divided into two groups, 31 cases of each group. The patients who used the heating pad and the warm shoe cover were selected as the observation group, and the patients who did not use the heating device were selected as the control group. The change of temperature of the patients of two groups were observed when they were sent into the ward, 30 minutes after the oper- ation and 1 hour after the operation. Results The body temperature of the patients of the two groups when they were sent into the ward: the observation group was (36. 213±0. 182)℃, while the control group was (36. 155±0. 180)≥℃, and the differences were not statistically significant ( P〉0. 05 ). 30 minutes and 1 hour after the operation, the body temperature of the observation group and control group were (36. 516±0. 139)℃, (36. 797±0. 192)℃, (36. 332±0. 166)℃ and (36. 555±0. 171 )℃. The differences in body temperature were statistically significant (P〈0. 05). Conclusion It has statistical significance on heat preservation and wakening to use heating pad and heating shoe covers after operation.
