“We Media”and Mr. Trump's Presidential Campaign

摘  要:本文研究了自媒体传播的本质及其与大众媒介传播的结构区别。结合美国2016年大选和特朗普总统在推特发文的自媒体现象,分析在重大社会政治事件中自媒体传播的作用和影响。客观性、一致性和互动性是自媒体传播的三个基本要素,决定着自媒体传播的影响力。在社会传播过程中,满足其中一个要素就会使自媒体信息传播。基本要素的三元悖论在美国目前的自媒体传播中广泛存在,特朗普总统的推特发文正是在自媒体的三要素的共同作用下得到广泛传播。自媒体传播对美国的社会舆论、地域和代际差异、媒体的社会作用、社会政治事件走向产生了诸多影响。In the 2016 presidential campaign of the United States,the roles played by'We Media'and traditional mass media differed greatly. Tweets sent by presidential candidate Trump and his interaction with supporters in social media contributed to his victory in the election. This paper examines the nature of'We Media'communication,its differerence from mass media communication,and the implication of 'We Media'on major social and political events. Objectiveness,consistency,and inter-activeness are three basic components of'We Media'communication,which determine the scope and scale of its influence. In the process of social communication,as long as one of the three components is satisfied,the media information,regardless true or false,will spread quickly. Mr. Trump's presidential campaign and his victory manifested how 'We Media'has shaped the public's perception,judgment,and votes. Mr. Trump's tweets and his interaction with his supporters are only one bite of the overall phenomenon of American 'We Media'.'We Media'communication had its influence in the past and will continue to affect the public opinion,social and political events in the future.
