摘　　要："可视化方法周期表"被称作可视化研究领域的元素周期表,是一个仿效化学元素周期表的外观、表现形式与组织原则对可视化方法进行编码、上架的可视化方法系统。"可视化方法周期表"作为一个复杂的符号体系,具有形式能指与多层意义所指,对其进行系统化与理论化探析,可促进"可视化方法周期表"应用价值的实现。从"可视化方法周期表"的形式能指、内容所指与应用空间三个不同层次对其价值进行深入探析,分别揭示出"可视化方法周期表"所具有的信息价值、知识价值与智慧价值。＂ A periodic table of visualization methods＂ is known as the periodic table in the field visualization, and a system about visualization methods that codes and places visualization methods by following the appearance, the expressive forms and the organiza-tional principles of the Periodic Table of Elements. ＂ A periodic table of visualization methods＂ is a complex symbol system, which has the signifier and multiple signified, and can better realize the application value of ＂a periodic table of visualization methods＂ by sys-tematic and theoretical analysis. This paper deeply explores the values of ＂ a periodic table of visualization methods＂ from three per-spectives： form and signifier, content and signified, and application area, and respectively reveals the ＂information value＂ , ＂ knowl-edge value＂ and ＂ wisdom value＂.
