摘 要:"软件无线电(Software Radio)"最早是由美国MITRE公司Joseph Mitola III博士提出,用于解决海湾战争中联军不同制式、不同国家、不同兵种之间通信难、带宽小、速率低的问题。该技术核心理念是除天线和送受话器两边的A/D和D/A变换器以外,其余调制解调、工作频段选择、信道接入方式、业务种类、通信协议、编解码方式、加密方式等功能全部用可重构、可升级的构件化软件来实现。硬件则为开放性、可扩展、标准化的、模块化的、结构精简的通用平台。软件无线电是一种新型的体系结构,是现代无线电工程的一种设计方法、设计理念。"Software Radio" was first proposed by Dr. Joseph Mitola III of MITRE, USA, to solve the problem of poor communication, low bandwidth and low speed in the different modes of coalition forces, different countries and different arms during the Gulf War. In addition to the antenna and the A/D and D/A converter of the transmitter on both sides, the core concept of the technology is that the rest functions, such as modulation and demodulation, work band selection, channel access, business type,communication protocol, encoding and decoding, encryption and so on, are all realized with reconfigurable and upgradeable component software. The hardware is an open, scalable, standardized,modularized, and streamlined common platform. As a new type of architecture, software radio is a design method and design concept of modern radio engineering.
