摘　　要：1957年5月英国宣布废除"中国差别"。在"中立""权利均势"原则的指导下,英国放宽对中国大陆的贸易管制程度后,随即调整对台湾贸易政策。由英国出口信用保证局牵头,经各部门反复论证后,1957年9月英国政府决定对台湾首次实行贸易信贷政策,这对英台关系产生了相对积极的影响。In May 1957,UK government announced to remove its “China Differential” policy. Under the guid-ance of “ Neutrality Principle” and “ Balance of Power” ,UK started to adjust its trade policy to Taiwan as soon as relaxing the trade control over the Mainland. In September 1957, Led by Exports Credit Guarantee Depart-ment and argued repetitively by other government sectors, UK government decided to implement trade credit poli-cy to Taiwan for the first time, which exerted a positive effect on British - Taiwan relations.
