摘　　要：蜘蛛是一类"八足无翅,善于纺丝"的节肢动物。它具有分布广、种类多、数量大、捕食能力强、食量大、繁殖快、寿命长、居留较稳定等特点,成为园林生态系统中抑制害虫的重要组成部分。不论从园林蜘蛛个体、种群、群落、生态系统、景观生态学特征,还是从园林蜘蛛资源的保护和利用及人工释放技术等方面来看,蜘蛛均无愧于园林卫士的称呼。The spider is a kind of ＂eight foot wingless,good at spinning＂arthropod. It has a wide distribution,many variety and quantity,big predation ability and appetite,fast breeding,long life and stable residence,and has become an important part of garden ecosystems to control pests. Regardless from characteristics of individuals,populations,communities,ecosystems and landscape ecology of the garden spider,or from the protection and utilization and artificial release technology and so on of the garden spider resources,the spiders are worthy of the ＂garden spider guards＂call.
