摘　　要：僚人是中国历史上的重要族群,多部正史设传对其专门记载。通过梳理僚人长时段的发展,可以发现其在史籍中称谓由僚人转化为南平僚,原因是华夏化进程的不同,僚人内部不同分支各自发展,使得僚人这一整体的形象在史籍中发生变化,其代表性族群由魏晋时期的巴蜀北僚转为唐代的南平僚。Lia o is an important ancient ethnic gr ou p in China which had been well documented in many official records specifically.By viewing the revolution of Liao people,the appellation of the group changed from Liao to Nanpin Liao can be found in historical records.Owing to different Chinesize processes and independent development of inward branches,the image of Liao had changed for the representative groups transformed from Northern Bashu Liao in Wei and Jin Periods to Nanpin Liao in Tang Dynasty.
