邓恩与布朗宁戏剧独白的比较研究

摘　　要：戏剧独白作为英语诗歌中的一种独特形式,是英美文学中影响广泛的一个传统,作为一种有着影响深远传统的诗歌形式,在这一传统形式的发展中,邓恩与布朗宁起到了很大的作用。邓恩在戏剧独白诗的发展过程中起着承前启后的作用,布朗宁则是戏剧独白的集大成者,他们以冷静的笔触和对传统大胆的质疑,体现了他们对传统的深刻理解与创新。本文通过选取两者典型的戏剧独白诗,从写作技巧、人物形象与戏剧冲突三方面入手,重点探析二者在戏剧独白诗创作方面的异同点。John Donne and Robert Browning play an important role in developing soliloquy of playsas a unique expression in English poetry and as a traditional device in English and American literatures.They dare to challenge the traditional ways by using their techniques in handling soliloquies in theirpoems, Donne＇s being in -between, while Browning＇s being more adept. By analyzing some of theirtypical poems containing soliloquies,a comparative study is made of their creation in such poems bymeans of their poetry techniques, portrayal of characters, and dramatic conflicts.
